After all of these years, I am just looking for some answers! It has always puzzled me that Wayne Williams is considered the Atlanta Child Murderer, after being convicted of killing two grown men. I have a gnawing suspicion that he is in fact innocent and am horrified that such an injustice won't ever be corrected. During news casts of the investigation and trial, he did come across as brash and arrogant and even unlikeable. I felt that he liked the attention that he was getting and felt he thought he could make the prosecution and policemen look like fools. He had the arrogance and stupidity of youth but never once did I think he was capable of serial or any murder. He seemed like a nerdy "Momma's boy" who was at first reveling in all of the attention. When ever I think about his case, it makes me realize that we are truly all alone.

Wayne I have more than one thing in common with you, we were born the same day and we are sinners. When Jesus left himself be placed on the cross, the dried tree stump represented you and me. The Bible says he made himself sin on our behalf. When he goes to the father, he doesn’t say, Father forgive the sins of David or forgive the sins of Wayne. No, He doesn’t say that. He says, “forgive my sins”. Psalm 38. Yes, when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, our sins are now his. Yes, He does not judge or accuse anyone.

You know Jesus talks about when someone makes a child stumble or go a stray, it is better we tie a millstone from a donkey (Mateo 18; Spanish version “asno” also known as “burro”) around the neck, and be cast to the bottom of the sea. The millstone represents guilt, and the donkey, the Christian who has the stone tied to the neck and doesn’t want to let go. The only way to untie that stone from our necks, is through the truth of Jesus Christ and he will set us free. For Jesus there is nothing impossible. It is only us that make it sometimes impossible for him. We are all made new in Christ Jesus. May God bless you and his word stay in your heart.

True you are, a person does not need God to be a good person. A person needs God to get to Heaven, my friend. As for educated individuals, I'll put my education up to anyone's at anytime.

God bless you, my friend!

It saddens me that African Americans are held hostage by a myth. God stops us from thinking on our own and we give away our power because of this long standing lie. Any educated person knows the history of religion and that God has never existed. Maybe teach prisoners to become self empowered, honorable and kind. You don't need God to be a good person.

I'm sure Wayne Williams was wrongly convicted... but, this is his life path. Maybe he can do good behind bars.
